Soljans Estate Winery is a family-owned vineyard in Kumeu, run by the family since 1937 and about a 20-minute drive from the Auckland CBD. Weddings take place among rows of vines, with vows under a pergola surrounded by lush gardens.
The reception space opens to a sunlit courtyard and manicured lawns, with a smooth flow between indoors and outdoors. Menus are prepared by Head Chef Nick Peraua, and a dedicated wedding coordinator stays with couples through the planning.
A list of local suppliers covers florists, styling and hire, photography, hair and make-up, transport, music, celebrants and cakes. Away from weddings, the winery runs a bistro, a cellar door, a wine shop, functions and Christmas events, and sells its Estate, Barrique Reserve, Sparkling and Heritage wines online.
Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance, seating and toilets are in place. Rated 4.3 from 412 Google reviews, 270 of them five stars.
