About William C Daldy Preservation Society

The William C Daldy is a historic twin screw, coal-fired steam tug available for charters and public sailings on Auckland Harbour from September to May. She was built at Renfrew on the Clyde in 1935 for the Auckland Harbour Board and entered service in February 1936.

The Preservation Society offers more than 35 years of harbour cruising experience, and the vessel has a coffee bar, bar, galleys and a large barbecue. The crew helps plan events from weddings to wine tastings.

BYO is offered, and food can be finger food, a fully catered meal or self-catered. The berth is in downtown Auckland close to the Britomart Transport Terminus and public parking.
